Maggie McSorley welcomed by Family Care Adoption Services as its new CEO

Maggie McSorley has been apppointed as the new CEO of Family Care Adoption Services, following the recent retirement of Ms Rosemary Hurl.

She brings with her a wealth of experience from the secotr and is looking forward to helping the organisation to further develop and flourish under her leadership.

Maggie began working as a Social Worker with Family Care Adoption Services in 1998, becoming a Senior Practitioner in 2004, and the Practitioner Manager for Post Adoption Services in 2010. Maggie has also managed the Life Story Project since its inception in 2013 and has responsibility for new project development.

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to Rosemary for her service over the past two and a half decades.

In post as Chief Executive for twelve years, Rosemary worked for the Agency for over 25 years in total; beginning as a Social Worker and progressing through Senior Practitioner,  Adoption Manager and Deputy Chief Executive posts.

Her dedicated service to the organisation is appreciated by all of the team and we wish her every success in her retirement.
