We are Recruiting the Following Flexible Permanent Social Work posts for our Adoption & Post Adoption Services
The role would suit candidates who have completed their Social Work training and have at least two years post qualifying experience in a Statutory or Voluntary family/child care setting. Posts are ideal for candidates wishing to work or begin working in the Charity, Community or Voluntary sector in a flexible working pattern.
To provide new families for children in need of permanence through adoption by the provision of a professional assessment and placement service.
To provide ongoing post adoption support to adoptive families and children for as long as it is required.
To facilitate contact between adopted children and their birth families where that has been deemed appropriate.
To provide Social Work counselling and support services to birth family members who have lost a child to adoption.
