Concurrent Carers are placed with Babies and Toddlers who they will be able to adopt if those children cant quickly return home…
There are children waiting to be adopted in Northern Ireland right now. They need the love and attention of a committed family, and new parents who are fit and healthy and full of life.
If you are an Adopted Adult aged at least 18 years, you have the legal right to access information about yourself before you were adopted.
Almost all children placed for adoption in Northern Ireland have had to be parted from both their birth family and later from foster carers, in order to be matched with you and into their new family.
Concurrent Care is a particular type of fostering where babies and young children are placed with carers while intensive work is carried out by Trust social workers with the birth parents over an agreed period.
If you are a birth parent whose child was adopted in the past, Family Care Adoption Services can offer you a supportive service.
If you would like any information regarding any of the post adoptive services and support we can provide, please get in touch via phone or email.
