Family Care Adoption Services offers the following services:

Prospective Adopters

You will be allocated a Social Worker to undertake your Assessment and support you through the process. Your Adoption will usually take between 6-9 months.

Post Adoption Support

If you would like to talk to us about the Post Adoption support and advice which we can provide, please get in touch with us by phone or email.

Adopted Adults

If you are an Adopted Adult aged at least 18 years, you have the legal right to access information about yourself before you were adopted.

Birth Family Members

While Birth families do not have the legal right to information about a birth child placed for adoption under current legislation in Northern Ireland, Family Care will assist you as far as is possible.

Family Care offer a wide range of services, whether you are a prospective adopter or an adopted adult seeking information about yourself.
